i'm earning 0,00$ since 3rd , trying to get off the smart pricing. looking at my adsense history, in june-july I had an *big* downtime, of 5 days. My cpc after the downtime was multiplied by 3 ... Hope it happens again!
I try to keep myself away - honest I do! But I just can't! I look forward to being so laid back I only take a peek first thing each morning.
Impressions on my main site are about the same, about 1800-2000 a day. But earnings are down about 30-40% so far But hey, it's early and will probably get better
Abysmal. My average is down 50% & I have no idea why. It's depressing to have worked so hard & have it all come crashing down on me November was pretty poor too. Sigh.
I would say keep changing ads location if you have returning visitors, change ad units, colors etc it will increase ur ctr though, You need to select some good niche to have good eCPM try Research and if your current sites not doing well, try work on another try work hard and you have a good adsense account. Best of Luck.
I love this statement. Sometime we can focus only from one source. Google adsence is a good earning opportunity but there are others way to earn profit from a site.
December started very good for me.Link exchanges are starting to bring more traffic which equals more $.I hope I'll reach my 5$/day target this month And I'm also waiting for my PIN.Who knows, maybe I'll get my first check on January.
Only problem is I have a few hundred pages, so changing colour & location etc would take up large chunks of time. I tried other affiliates etc., and only earn a few cents a day from them (if that). The only thing that has paid is Adsense, so it's not that I've not tried raising revenue from other sources. Problem is when you have a large site, making changes to layout is really time consuming. I have devoted all this year to adding content & December has dropped so much that I'm earning no more now than I was a year ago, but with a truck load more content So for now it's time to just take a break & hang out with the children. I return to work in April, and have devoted enough time to AS. I have poured my heart & soul into the site, and right now feel I'm not willing to put more effort into something which has dropped out so dramatically. It's time to focus on my last few months at home with the children. As for starting other sites, I know that a lot of people here are proponents of multiple sites, but I truly do this because I enjoy the topic of my site, and therefore my heart is in it. I couldn't start another site, because I just wouldn't have the interest. Certainly for me, I have to have a love of the topic or I'll lose interest within a week. I have a short attention span It's time for an AS holiday & a break from the site. I don't have much more time home with my children, and have thrown away 2006 on AS. It was good while it lasted. Such a drama filled post, I don't mean it to be so emotional, really!!!
Just redesigned my site and launched it December 1st. Averaging double digit CTR and quite a bit of revenue. Much better than last month.
Many of you use Adsense as part of "or" your main source of income, but if you do you know how important it is to track and study your clicks to improve your earnings and CTR's. I thought I had the best deal out there with Showclicks at $20, but recently I found AdSpyTracker and it's only $9.99! It won't stay at that price for long, but you can get AdSpyTracker for that price if you act quickly. Check it out...you won't be dissapointed that you did. Similar programs have sold for $97 and more like Adsense Gold and it's not as easy to use as this program is.
It's interesting you mention how well it works but not how much your earnings increased since you started using it, neither do you mention what it does exactly but did provide more than 2 affiliate links. There you go - a typical spam post. Allen.H
Not a spam post at all. Actually if you're making any real money with Adsense you already know how important it is to track your stats and clicks for testing and improvement reasons. If you aren't making any serious money, then it's probably even more important. Based on your statement, I'm guessing the latter, because you would know that Adsense is a game of statistics and and if you don't have any, you won't go far or you'll go very slowly. Tracking programs are wonderful tools for learning the traits of your visitors and what ads and colors are working so you can improve. Now regarding the affiliate link, sorry if you think someone trying to earn an extra buck or two is bad, but I looked at it as offering a great and inexpensive option to fellow Adsense users. I wish I had found it a long time ago and saved myself about $80 on a program that did less than this one does. If you want a free program go to, Adlogger.org and get a free tracker but if you really want a great program for a cheap price try the one I suggested. For $10 it's a great program and fairly easy to install.
