December Audits? Happy or Not?

In October I had none of my revenue removed by Chitika in the audit.

In November it was around 5%. In December it is ~20%. Considering that December discounts, already, clicks from non-represented countries, 20% is way too high.

What did everyone else see with the December numbers compared to previous months?

I lost ~28%. I didnt expect that much. Especially becouse my stats show great number of visitors from usa. About 95%. I expected 10-20% to be removed in worst case.

I still run chitika, but making new strategy. Iam not happy 50%. lol

I am happy enough with the Nov / Dec audit and Chitika in general. I find that it is a great complement to AdSense.

For me it has not canabalized my earnings from AdSense at all and so will stay on my sites.

I lost almost nothing... But it doesn't make me really happy since I had much less clicks after removin some links from ads :(

    Happy or Not?

Hmmmm. Kinda grumpy, but not entirely PO'd.

A double digit % gone, but in the low range. What worries me the most is a reference in their blog to how chargebacks on merchants effect our payments.

Chargebacks? Since when did we sign-up for CPA? Chitika is contractually CPC. I understand click fraud. I even understand unsupported countries. No problem with those. But chargebacks?

    (sound of teeth grinding)

For december I lost 0.00% but I did start using alternate ads from the very start so I guess that cut out the invalid clicks straight away :)

Yah, their support leaves a LOT to be desired. I asked for a detailed and very specific definition of the term "curiosity clicks" when that topic reared its ugly head. Got blown off until I pressed the matter.

With a CPC contract, a click is a click is a click, yes? Except for fraud, of course, but that ain't how you spell curiosity.
