We'd have to see it first -- Link?

Though solving your 'problem' could range anywhere from just adding media queries to change the layout for mobile IF (and this is a BIG if) it was built properly, to being a decade and a half out of date train wreck that needs to be completely thrown out and started over from scratch with nothing worth saving on it.

The latter is much more likely with the idiocy of people starting their designs in paint programs like photoshop, sleazing out their layouts in Dreamweaver, most coders failing to pull their heads out of 1997's arse, throwing endless pointless "frameworks" for CSS and Scripting at it just making more work for everyone, pissing away accessibility and functionality in the process, and idiocy like HTML 5 which is setting coding practices back a decade and a half.

First, make sure there's no Java, no Flash!

Www.renderart.co.uk Before you ask....I am a construction worker not a web developer. Yes I should have left it for a web developer to build but funds are limited . Anyhow I know I need to reduce the pictures to aid in faster loading times.and it does seem to load ok on pc but hangs on loading icon and black screen with ipad.....I dont care if you rip it apart please someone take a look. If it needs work im willing to pay . Thanks guys.....dark.........your gonna love it!!!!

Well, I'm going to be frank with you (shocking, I know) -- it's got a LOT of issues if you care about mobile... or accessibility, it's even busted on my desktop machine. The reason for this is twofold -- "gee ain't it neat" scripting tricks, and "But I can do it in photoshop" design. Both are most always the road to failure and why my advice -- as it so often is -- is to throw it away and start over from scratch. There is -- as I often tell people -- nothing in the design worth even TRYING to save. All that fancy scrolling and shoe-horning of it into one page is the antithesis of accessible design. Scripting for nothing, goofy animations for nothing, and in general how NOT to promote one's business.

I mean really, hiding the contact information on the fourth page?!? No information at all about what we're even looking at when it loads?

This is one of those poster childs for everything I'm always on about on these forums on how NOT to build a website.

Even just oddball stuff like having a contact form AND listing the e-mail... Usually it's one or the other... or the "lets use multiple different fonts on EVERY page".

AHA: Themeforest -- Well there's your problem... some advice, 'off the shelf' templates are NEVER good for a business; no matter what the SCAM ARTISTS at places like Themeforest or TemplateMonster will tell you.

I'm retired from doing websites, but the past... week and a half despite my health issues I've been so tempted to come out of retirement for a few simple quickies; this is one page of nothing and three "pages" of static content, that I'm not even sure warrants navigation much less multiple pages - not even two hours work once details about layout and content are worked out (another hour or two online chat). I'm gonna mull over coming out of retirement on this one because it's so simple... Lemme get back to you.

I'm sending you a PM with some details, proposed layout(s) (well, only plural because of the behavior of different widths), etc, etc..."

Really the entire design concept needs to be pitched to address the deep rooted issues in terms of accessibility, much less trying to make a real responsive layout out of it. Like most off the shelf templates, the people who built that really don't know enough about said subject to be designing, much less coding, a blasted thing.

My proposed redesign and changes is far more simple, may not feel quite as jazzy, but at least it will be useful to visitors presenting your business info quickly, cleanly and in a useful manner, instead of spreading it out over counter-intuitive scripting for nothing "gee ain't it neat" non-standard navigation.

Said rewrite would take it from the current 1.2 megabytes in 52 files, down to 144k in 22 files. That's bascially shaving anywhere from 8 to 30 seconds off the page-load time just in handshaking,.. and 1/9th the file-transfer.

    PM incoming.

... and it took me longer to write the PM than it did to create the demo code/images.
