    I have just sold an item on Ebay. I have a Paypal personal account. The buyer has decided to use a credit card/debit card and when I click on "Accept" payment button it shows me this:

    Accept Credit or Debit Card Payments

    To provide eBay buyers with more flexible payment options, eBay sellers should accept all payment types, including credit and debit cards.
    Upgrade to a Premier account and accept payments.
    Premier accounts offer a low transaction rate of 2.9% plus $0.30 USD per transaction (see our rates) and exclusive Premier benefits:

    * Help increase sales by offering buyers more ways to pay - including debit and credit cards
    * Get paid faster when you accept PayPal from your eBay listings and automatically request payment from your buyers
    * Receive our chargeback and seller protection at no additional cost
    * Save time with our shipping, tracking and reporting tools
    * More Premier account benefits

    I though that I could receive 5 payments per month with debit/credit card with a personal account. If I do upgrade then I will have to pay a 30c + 2.9% fee for paypal to paypal transactions.

    So what should I do? I want to receive this payment but I don't want to get killed on fees from paypal to paypal. :confused:

    If you do eBay, you most definitely need a Premier/Business account. The personal account is not supposed to be used to make money.
