I have been improving a debater forum which focuses on Politics and need your advice to further improve it.

Why is everyone going with bright white as a bg? Hurting my eyes i tell ya Other than that nice simple clean forum. Wouldnt want to deal with all the flammers ...having a debate forum is crazy to "me."

 

The domain is good but like jeramie78 said, topic doesn't wow me neither.
I don't like the left column, why have it there?

 

I do not like the color scheme and the theme, I think you should get a more
professional theme.

 

Yes...as other members said, the design is very irritating to the eyes. There are so many professional themes available for free... consider changing the theme.
