I don't really see any point to following your orders to watch a video when you don't even include a blurb about it other than the very short title of this thread.
Well if you have any knowledge of what Habeas Corpus is you would have something to talk about wouldn't you.
Habius Corpus is a common law writ used to force the government to prove that a prisoner is being kept prisoner legally. However I have no idea whether your video is a 5 minute long news clip or a 5 hour long conspiracy theory video. Assuming that someone's opinion is based on nothing but ignorance is often a way to prevent one's self from learning.
I have said all along that Bush has helmed a usurpation of American rights held dear for so very long. I do not believe he does so with evil intent. The Patriot Act is a danger. The good news is I believe it will be revoked and soon.
I must not be a part of the masses. I can't come up with any way I've been oppressed. But I can surely come up with terrorists who have been oppressed and caught under the patriot act.
Gtech... thank God for that. I am all for them getting nailed, well, made dead actually. So I and other Americans have suffered through the Patriot Act's most signifigant potential rough spots. It's not about the masses to me... It's about the one guy somewhere, the one lady... I remember once an old soldier from WWII telling me simply that the difference between Americans and the Japaneze in that war was that we would send 99 men over the hill to save one man... our combatants in this war would not. Gtech... I fear for the one man over the hill. It's enough now, it's time to roll back that Habeaus Corpus thing into the mix... and not let that bearded monkeyfuck change our very identity of who we are, what we're all about, in this greatest nation on earth. I also remember the bastard saying just after 9/11 that it signalled "the end of freedom." Let's make certain he was predicting his own on the way, these past five years, to the darkness of caves.
Lovely a former sportscaster (not a very good one) is now the resident expert on politics and constitutional law. What next?
Now, Mia, that's not very nice of you And not at all American. It smacks of elitism. We had a President who was an actor quite recently. The far right seems to forget that fact as they hit those oh-so easy targets called Hollywood actors (they are so laughably bad too, ain't they?).. It was Reagan put the elephant back in the barn.
Reagan was smart, educated, and a Governor before he became president. Olberman is an idolt and a dolt who spends his time on his soapbox whinning and crying like a little biatch... It's quite disturbing at times. What has Olberman ever done that was a postive contribution to society than bitch about Bush on a nightly basis with his goofy 3 minute rants? Answer: nothing.
