    Dear Paypal,

We all know you screwed your Indian users awhile ago and you have screwed us again. This time, only worse.

A paypal user who is enjoying all the features is charged the same fee as the fee charged for us Indian users who really have no features except withdrawing funds to bank.

Why exactly are you charging us the fee for? The funds cannot be transferred, used for shopping, personal payments, gifts..so on and on. And why is it the same as it is for every other users who enjoys all the features.

Also, in every statement that is made about this issue, it says ' we are complying with RBI rules ' , why not just say what the rules are, " RBI rules state that we need to provide interest for any funds that are in store for longer than 7 days , that's why the 7 day limit."

I sincerely suggest you change your charging policies and keep your users informed of actually what is happening behind the scenes.

    Yours not so faithfully,
    Sandeep Prabhakaran

You should mail this to Paypal instead of posting here. No one here is involved with Paypal's administration. We all are suffering from the same pain.

Quality post. I think good % of Paypal income comes from India, so they should respect RBI policies, instead of living us in confusion. They know that Indians adjust for everything, that's why they are reluctant to change.

If all indian users become one and request Paypal or RBI , I think Paypal will be forced to remove this new rules and regulations :)

I think paypal also don't want to apply this rule...that is the reason why still the rules are not implemented..

No point to complaint, they wouldnt simply change the policy
either accept it or go for other payment processor

I think Paypal is not going to implement these rules. They are just showing rules to Indian Paypal users everytime they login to just fool RBI because by doing this Paypal will loose its good running and long business in India :)

Paypal are cheeky. They have been freezing accounts, they think they can get away with things.
I think someone should take action
