Hello Mr. Moderator, I greet you sir. Your power and authority I well acknowledge. I have been suspended from sending PMs for a month now. Sir, this I believe is harsh given how relatively small my crime is. Yes, I sent several PMs to quite a number of people to call their attention to a particular thread I wanted them to post their vote in, but I didn't spam them to sell any product or service. The thread in question could be found here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t207=8525 My first reminder to you about a month ago is here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2081747 I was very new on DP then, just 2 to 3 days old, and I was yet to imbibe the rules and regulations fully. That was definitely a shortcoming on my part then. But I am now a changed DPer. I have evolved to be a law-abiding DPer, with the rules and regulation serving me like the bible has served me as a Christian. I have repented to sin and spam no more sir. Please sir, I beg you to kindly "unsuspend" my account from being able to send PMs and let me go with a harsh warning. May the Lord not take away your power and authority you have used judiciously. Thank you.
Usually a monthish... but there's some variation on that depending how bad of a PM spammer the user was/is.
I didn`t know that you can get suspended from sending PM. What is the estimate number of PM that you sent. Just to know because i sometime send 10-20 PM a week
OOhhh. I think that is not to much. I was thinking of 30-50. I will take care in the future not to exagerate with the pm.
If those 40 or 50 report the pm as spam then the full force of DP law should be thrust upon the sender, and no amount of ass kissing should save them.
