Okay, this guy more or less copied our website, and re-wrote it in his own words. But what's the worst part?
He has the audacity to steal the content from our site, and submit it to article directories with a link back to his new site to promote it!

What is the WORST I can do in this situation to him? Is it possible to get his site banned from the SEs and him banned as an author at EzineArticles and stuff?

If the article he submitted is a duplicate of your web site content, I would email ezinearticles with both links

Already did. The guy's account has been suspended, and will most likely be banned. The article has also been taken down. I'm just still amazed that a low-life cretin such as this guy exists. First he steals our KW research, and then steals the content from our site to try and promote his own version of our site!!

Frankly there are all kinds of people on the Internet, but glad that at least for your case, some justice is done. For many, the culprits can just escape the due course of the laws by being from another country etc.....

If he copied it, and it's got coding that has things that are near to not exact measurements to you, you can call a copyright attorney and sue him for infringement.

Which is why there needs to be some kind of Jason Bourne assassin for hire that would remove these scum lords when they rip off content.

Or, there needs to be some sort of secret, hidden code that destroys the thief's computer when he hits 'publish' or something similar.
