We run a number of channels for promotion so I theoretically could pay out the following on the same order: Affiliate commission Pay per click (several networks) Remarketing (pay per click for recaptured visitor) Commission based email campaigns SEO So I figure on a single sale I could pay something in excess of 20%. The only way I can see to limiting the exposure is to shorten the affiliate commission cookie length. All of these channels drive good sales so I want to be careful not to hurt any one channel.
Yeah, I guess I was thinking out loud and forgot the question. The question: Is there anything else I should do beyond shortening the affiliate commission window?
