Deadend Niche?

I have a website blog niche that's barely getting 5 cents per click.
Furthermore, the general niche is a deadend as far as getting high paying clicks no matter what sub categories I decide to write about for this blog.

What should I do? Should I start adding 'categories' on my blog and write about something else that's totally irrelevant to the domain name?

It already has about 15 well written articles for the niche that's not paying much.

you can try and put more contents on high paying niche that it will overcome the other contents inside the blog that is generating the ads.

    Just my 2 cents

i would say stick with it and try to get more traffic, you might see a rise in earning due to the new interest based ads.

That's all well and good, but be realistic. Sometimes you need to throw in the towel. If it's going nowhere, don't be afraid to switch your efforts to a more productive area.

I'd say start over with a new niche while your not too far in, 15 articles is better than 150. If the articles are unique you can sell them here on DP to get some money from your works, maybe to put forward to your new site. Meds and pharmaceuticals are hot niches, maybe you should try them? LOL Just my 2 cents though, whatever you do good luck!

are you sure you explored all possibilities within that niche ? Did you use adwords keyword tool? I wrote down the process I use to find highest paying keywords in a niche...

But be aware that highest paying doesn't mean highest earnings in the end, because other lower paying keywords might get you a lot more traffic and hence better earnings.
