I know im probably opening up a whole can of worms here, but following this weeks MASSIVE de-indexing of pages (I myself have lost several thousand indexed pages on a few sites)

    - I was wondering, has ANYONE noticed any TBPR updates?
I havent so far, but with all this activity, surely its just round the corner?

:D Perhaps Google's Christmas surprise to us all will be a global PR update? :D

What sucks the most with de-indexed, is when your page gets de-indexed, and the a spider crawls that site the next day, it will then drop the PR of that page to Unranked. So you lost of the PR. Pretty big downside to some.

My site that just went through the big de-indexing and re-indexing never once showed any change in the google toolbar PR.

After recent events I no longer have any interest at all in pagerank and don't plan on selling links whatever my PR, so a toolbar export doesn't affect me or interest me any more. I was pretty slow to learn this lesson!

To answer the question, I doubt if there is a link between a toolbar PR export and recent indexing changes, although google internal PR might well have changed as part of their jiggling. I don't think they will be in a rush to export it again this year.

edit: just remembered my signature, that doesn't count!

the last PR update was last week for me when it dropped one of my blogs from PR5 to PR3 out of no where, a few days before that one of my other blogs went from PR2 to PR1 and then a few days ago that PR1 turned to PR0, i really dont give a crap about pr anymore, they have truly screwed up the system

Perhaps that was their plan, to stop the link economy thats based on TBPR...

After having given it some thought I reckon that their absolutely MUST be a TBPR adjustment on the way, as all of that linkjuice from those hundreds of millions of dropped pages will be disappearing from the forumula

    .....right.......about.........NOW!!!!!

Oh well, it didnt happen, but if it had that would have been well cool!! lol.
