De-indexing pages

I used to have 500 indexed pages with my abstract directory then it decreased to 200 and then to somewhere above 100.

Despite, of adding more links from directories and some sites at a natural phase and despite of increasing the possible pages for Google to index.

What is the reason behind this?

hmm.. I have many mods that should increase the number of inexing pages.. details and many sorting options etc.. do I have to create a sitemap for that also or will google crawl URLs that the sitemap don't mention about?

I had a site map on a phpbb forum and it has one indexed page :)

not sure what to say. that's interesting.

I think this topic needs to be in Google section of the forum to get more replies and better ideas

It appears that right now, Google is not seeing the links pointing to your directory. I'm not sure how long ago you added the links but Google is showing 0

Just wait until you start seeing and index and cache from a year ago. This has happened to many of us here...
