Hi, just curious. What's the difference between getting de-indexed by google and getting banned? Are there ways to climb back after these situations.

Getting de-indexed doesn't mean you won't be re-indexed back by Google, but banned means there's no more place for you in Google.

getting de-indexed means your site is still crawled by google but not being indexed probably because of duplicate contents. but will be re-indexed once the issue is fixed. getting banned means not being crawled and has no chance in getting re-indexed. :)

I think there are two different issues getting mixed up here.

One can never get banned in search engines, the penultimate action being not getting indexed at all, while it is for adsense accounts that one witnesses BAN!

Were talking apples and oranges here.

An individual site gets de-indexed from Google's SERPS and you can get banned from Adsense for clicking on your own ads or banned from Adwords for repeatedly trying to advertise things they don't approve of like cigarettes, guns, liquor or acai berry pills (just kidding on the last one, but they can screw your account for trying).

Two issues. If you are deindexed, just build a new site, if you get banned, serious bummer.

if you update your de-indexed site and make sure no duplicate pages but you still get de-indexed as a result in one couple weeks then your site is banned for sure.

if your site is indexed in US but not indexed in CN then your site is banned in China for sure.

if your site is being de-indexed , you can send a Re inclusion Request to Google. ... just make sure you explain your self very well, and if necessary, back up your letter with images
