De-Indexed [PR Still there] Is it cuz of PR update?

    hey freinds,

    suddenly my site has been taken off the google search engine....I was getting 70% of traffic fromm google search.MMy friend told me its cuz of PR update.

    Is it true that my sit has been de-indexed due to pr update.My current pr is still 2.

    plz help im in truble.One of my friends site was taken off the index.But laters in a week it was added back.

    I never did any rong SEO tricks.just link exhanges on DP...meta tags....title tags....thts it

    The PR update has nothing to do with search ranking.

    Internal PR is updated on an almost daily basis. The Tool Bar Page Rank is an export that occurs every 3 months and is a snap shot of your PR taken approx. a month ago.

    Newbies attribute their serp changes to the toolbar pr export. Usually, a toolbar pr update is accompanied by a data push or general housekeeping at Google that has caused the change in your search rankings.

    Changing your title and meta tags will change your serp ranking big time!!!

    yah it has effects... i've changed my blogs title before that causes some supplemental results.

    Also the site wide link exchanges can trip a filter.

    i did sitewide link exchanges.....

    but my friends site was de-indexed a week ago...for 3 -4 days.Now its back.
