i have an ebay store which until recently was indexed in google. i wanted to be able to send people to a url that was easier to remember, so i set up something called "stealth forwarding" (see my domain name providers description of stealth forwarding below).

a couple of days after setting this up, my ebay store has been de-indexed from google. however, the domain that i am forwarding from has not...

could the stealth forwarding have gotten me de-indexed?

Always try to use 301 redirects, that is what Google recommends. Google is cracking down on a lot at the moment and since it is not a permanent redirect it could be that it is considered dubious in some way
