.de domains - Is this worth registering?

    I found a .de domains that I am considering registering.

    Was wondering if it is worth registering a .de domain that consists of 3 English words with an Overture of about 1,000 searches per day?

    de domains are great if you have a german captive audience, regardless if they include a world in English or other language.

    However people outside German speaking countries will always bet on the com, net, org and info (mainly) before try .de

    Go to the domain auction web-sites and see how the market reacts on .de domains.

    By the way, you are currently at 999 posts a.k.a. 1 post shy of 1000 mark, go for it:)

    .cc are psychologically associated to free uni.cc domains, just like .tk to dot.tk, so people tend to believe you are running or selling a free domain rather than a paid one.

    well overture works best for .com. .de is quite popular but I would prefer com, net and org. In fact I dont like any other names. I have some good-sounding infos but extension is quite weird in most people's eyes.
    ask anybody what extension they expect to find ? com or probably net

    what do you mean overture of 1500 searches per day? The overture score indicates the search done on the yahoo! network during the last 30 days, so if you get an ovt of 1500 it means 1500 searches a month (not per day)
