.de Domain name - anybody can register it or

    Hi friends,

    New here.... and bit confused.

    I have registered a good .de domain name at godaddy then after searching
    a bit I found information that only German nationalist can register a .de
    domain name or you should have a german administrative contact information.

    I am from india and would like to know is the information right , the domain
    name will be cancelled from my account or no probs at all.

    Appreciate any help.

    I don't know how Godaddy is handling this, but your information is correct, to be able to register .de Domains, you need to have an address or an administrative contact with a German address. Otherwise the risk is, that Denic (German Registry) will cancel the Domain. You can solve this problem by using a Trustee Service, like offered at alldomainregistrar.com or if you know someone in Germany.
