   no i ask you if DDR2 going to do on my lapptop. On offical site of hp they wrote:
   
   Maximum Memory: Supports up to 2GB DDR memory (will DDR2 doing?)

   Looking at the specs it uses standard DDR. So it will not work with DDR2.
