DC & redirect??

Hi,
I just did realize, that a crawler does my pages identify a double content!!! On my server I can not make a .htaccess-redirect file?? What is the right way to handle that?

Pages wit same content:

http://www.---.com/
http://www.---.com/index.html

 

your http://www.---.com/index.html redirects to www.---.com
that becomes your main page of the site.
i do not understand any other way for your www.---.com to be different than index.html

 

So do you think there is no "trouble" with Google an double content???

no there is no trouble
cause your www.---.com/index.html is your main site itself
