Hi Dp friends. I used to have my own ddl site untill I brought it down because I didnt have the time to deal with it. I kept a backup just in case I ever needed it. Yesterday I check the text file and it has over 80k records with 2 table. when I upload the db it seems to only have 20k records and only 1 table. Can someone plz help me??? The database is not for a specific script. PLZ PLZ I really need help with this

    Thanks

The database not cashed in text form, so it consume less space. Discrшbe what type of database and backup.

Open the with a notepad or any other text editor and check if your data and tables is inside the SQL file.

It sounds to me like you have a corrupt SQL or partial due to lost connection with the server.

What is the size of the dump, and how much does your host allow?
I think a file of 80K records would be big in size...
    bye :)

well there is actually a total of 85192 records in the text file and the gzip is only 2.7mb and normal text is 17.7mb but my host allow over 250mb to be uploaded. i dont see why it wont work properly

Try www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php the specialist in dumping large sql files.

Just change a few values inside the single-file script to match your db details ;)
