For those that were interested in http://www.dayjobkiller.com/ it is finally out. It lives up to the copy and contains many promising controversial techniques. We will see how they work out.

My inbox has been getting bombarded with endorsements for it.. Does it really live up to all the hype? And is it just useful for affiliates, or will these techniques also work for those of us selling actual products from our websites?

I would say that it does live up to the hype although the proof will be in the pudding. I will post back after a couple of days.

It is designed definitely for affiliates. You probably could take a couple of tips from it as a vendor but I am not sure it would be worth the price tag.

If anyone is on the fence, grab it now, the price is supposed to go up tomorrow. It is a small book (69 pages) but it is packed with ideas.

does promoting books like that w/o bonuses really work.. since the whole market can just buy it from themselves...

Ocassionally...I had one sale so it was worth my 5 minutes work.

Not a long term strategy for sure.

Of course you can recreate videos. I just don't automatically assume everyone is a liar. My instincts have made me enough money in the offline business world. Could this guy just be a crook? Of course but after reading the book I don't think he is. If you have enough life experience, you can usually sense the fake.

I got an email from Allan Gardyne of associateprograms.com today on this guy - I respect Allans opinions - he states:

Be warned. The book is brutal. Chris himself happily says that is
    contains "ruthless, underground, and
    downright evil techniques".

although he went ahead to promote the product

    caveat emptor.

    A video can prove it?

I can film a testimonial video explaining how Bill Gates funded my project and that is not true.

I never pay attention to websites with videos instead of written content, hence I can't opine anything else.

I bought it as part of me publicly reviewing several of these ebooks. While I think the hype about it is way too much, there are some things in there that could be helpful for people starting out.

I bought it, it's going to create a bit of change. Damn it I was using some of the techniques and now everyone knows my secrets:) Not such a problem since most people don't take action anyway. Read my blog for a small clue as to what it's all about.

Well I went for it. First ebook i bought for nearly a year. I swore off them, but i had a feeling this one would actually have some meat and it does. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned. If I had the choice I'd rather no one else bought it now, but the cats out of the bag.

Ebooks are for suckers, plain and simple. There are no secrets to affiliate marketing that you can't learn for free on this and other forums.

There's no need to fake a $1m income. What he doesn't show is how much he spent on Adwords.

If he spent $1,000,001 it isn't much of a business.
