Day by Day Marketing?

    Hey,

My name's William Tha Great, here from Houston, Texas.

Have you ever retraced your footsteps? If you have, I bet it was very hard! It would be hard as heck for me to retrace my steps! Knowing me I would just be like forget this, then go on about my business. The reason its so hard to retrace your steps is simple. More times than none you took a lot of steps to get from point A to point B.

Marketing in a sense is very similar.

Many people try to do as much as they can as fast as imaginable. That is where you go oh so wrong. You shouldn't start your journey making 50 comments a day, then a month later write 15 comments a day because you blew yourself out. It's best embark upon your journey with the mindset of day by day, footstep by footstep, an consistency. Start at a level you know you can handle consistently without any problems. Then after you develop and master that, build up from there.

The World Wide Web doesn't get it's name for nothing.

Cyber space is vast and endless. You can't cover every inch of the web and surely can't in a day, so don't kill yourself! Practice your consistency, because constant repetition will put you on the path to progression. Take a step everyday in the right direction an go on from there. Don't you stop pushing forward! The steps that you are taking now will certainly boost your future starting with tomorrow. In the beginning when I first started marketing my blog I didn't see any positive results. It was if I was doing the work for the heck of it, but I knew I was taking steps in the right direction.

Now I can see my blogs traffic boost everyday and it seems like every article I write only gets more attention. I know that is from all the hard work I put in since the beginning. When you learn to take things day by day at your win speed you will get where you want to be.. eventually. Good things come to those who are patient.

    Hope this helped!

    God bless,
    William Veasley

Yep, I am also a fan of consistency. I think most everyone needs to set some realistic daily expectations on themselves. If you chip away at your project daily then you don't have to do everything in a single day. Even if you can just spend 15 minutes a day, that would be far better than working hard for 3-4 hours, and then waiting a month to see if you get any results. This is my philosophy as well.

Thanks for the good message, very inspiring ;)

Most of us want to do too much in one time, but I think that's normal. I'm currently working a ton for 6 months to raise funds for upcoming projects. I did invest a bit of that money already, and it already paid off!

    Good message, rep given.

Very good post and best advice for beginners. Points like hard work, consistency, never give up are of true importance on this line. Sometime i also get set back and feel like giving up, but decided to keep it up for few more days. Hope to realise goal at some time.

Very good thread. Patience and consistancy take a very important role in runnung your business on line. There are many people who run well their business on line always keep a very positive mood. To begin a business with a good mood is the base of success. I run our website and ebay business on line. Unfortunately, Ebay restrick my account, and did not allow us to list products. At the same time, the bad weather delayed many shipping. I had to communicate with our customers everyday. What's worst, I had to refund because of the delay. Things got very tough every day. But I keep patience and consistancy to offer all our best service to customers. I am sure when Ebay will let free my account. But I really apprecaited with this thread. That is what I am going to tell my teamate. Keep a regular update on the website and always be patient with customers will pay. This is what I believe.

you should try to use ebay for building a list , i have seing lots of people doing that and it really worsk, you know that people who visit ebay are buycoholic xD so you could send some deals from different sites and it will works because you know that ebay sometimes have a higher price than normal online stores.

consistency is key to success. Posting a few posts for a week and then nothing for couple of weeks, does not help you. You might as well post a single post weekly, every week for the entire year. That will drive traffic and help you gain loyal visitors.

    William Veasley,

Thanks for the great post. It shared a lot of good advice and I'm sure a lot of people will benefit from it. I know I always do when I hear advice like this.

Too often I see beginners getting really into their business and they put so much effort into it during the first few months that when they don't see instant results they stop their activity almost completely. It is really important to take it day by day and try to see the bigger picture. Success is not achieved overnight and those that think businesses can be built quickly and easily are usually mistaken. It takes a lot of hard work to run a business but it takes a very determined mindset to keep going even when success is not immediately within your grasp.

Consistency is key and you have to be realistic! If you start by doing a ton of work you will most likely burn out and end up doing no work at all!

Thanks for your very insightful and inspiring article. You are 100% right. Consitency and Persistence is the name of the game in this business.

You can NEVER succeed if you DO NOT stick around to see the result of your hard work.

    Cheers

I see so many people doing 10 hours work one day and nothing after that. It's all about setting a marketing plan up that can be used daily, or at least on a weekly basis.

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the awesome feedback!

You guys here at digital point rock, because you give me back solid advice. Instead of just responding to boost you post count. I'm glad everyone like this thread. I thought it might help some people, because time an time again I see a beginners name all over the web for like a month. After that month there no where to be found, because they burn themselves out within the first month.

Its more about consistancy than speed.

A person who writes 10 comments everyday will be mkre successful than a person who writes 70 comments 1 day and none for the none for the rest of the week. If you know you can't handle your schedule then it's time for you to reanalyze and figure out a schedule you can keep up with. The purpose of having a schedule is to keep working at a consistent pace.

Persistance is the key to everyone's success.

There are many other factors that are involved, but overall if you persist, persist, and persist when all odds are against you, then you will succeed. Perisitance means not stopping until the goal has been reached.

    Thanks again!

    God bless,
    William Veasley
