David Cook wins American Idol

    The David vs David contest on American Idol 2008 ended in victory for David Cook, rocker, crooner, and all-round nice guy. He beat David Archuleta by a decent margin, getting 56% of the 97.5 million audience votes.

    I thought Archuleta had such a sweeter voice. I actually was suprised Cook won.

    David A is cute. But David Cook is gorgeous. I'm so glad he won, love his voice.

    I havent watched American Idol since season2, try checking out America and Britain's got talent. They're both broader talent shows instead of just singing, is a lot more fun to watch.

    Both of these guys deserved to win, not only for their talent but they were so humble and both would have voted for the other. I personally think D Cook was the better idol choice. It was a great season.
