DatingGold.com scam?

Hi all, just wanted to know if anyone is having similar problem with datinggold.com.

I signed-up with DatingGold a few weeks back and I have bought some traffic for $150 so far. I have earned $150 in return in the last payout cycle. Just on the day, their payout was scheduled, I tried to login to my account to check my payment status and I got some sign-in errors. I tried continuously but the error still persisted. So I emailed AK about the problem, but got a reply that Indians are not allowed into the program and they have blocked my account and I haven't received my payout.

When I emailed AK, asking him to confirm my personal info, AK replied my email with the following quote:

But the irony is that, some people from India got their DatingGold Checks already like here

So, I wonder if they have changed their terms just at the time of new payouts.

Or else they are trying to scam few random affiliates like here?

Please let us know if anyone else is having similar problem with datinggold.com, Thanks.

There are a few other Dating sites which do allow users from those other countries. A quick search showed http://livedatesearch.com/cat/Dating_Webmasters/Dating_Affiliate_Programs/ for example which has a list of dating affiliates by various categories. If you do a search on indian dating for eg on Google, you can see which ads get shown and see if that site has an affiliate program. There are always other options.

not allowing india and china is great loss for themselves as most of the dating traffic comes from india and china.every famous dating sites has almost 50% paid indians and chinese members.

You are right. What really pissed me off is that they allow to select India or any other of the "oh so listed in banned countries list" when you sign up.

Another thing which took me to wonder seriously if DatingGold.com is indeed scamming is that AK didn't inform me that Indians are not allowed when I emailed him about my Payment Option problem a few days after I signed up at DatingGold, inspite of the fact that I clearly mentioned there that I am from India and I would like to change my payment option from check to epassporte . He simply asked me to send my epassporte account details and added up there in my account info. Only when the time of first payout came (that was after about 10-12 days of great work since my first email), my account was blocked saying that Indians are not allowed

    I agree with you 010081.

To me this is really stupid. What makes indians or chinese (or people from any other country for that matter) different from all the rest of us?

A human being is a human being. We obviously have different cultures and different skin colors, and so what? We should all have the same rights as human being. I really don't see why some people should be forbidden to participate in some things because they live in a particular country.

I'm really sad for you bnts... I think it is REALLY NOT FAIR.

And no I am not from India or China (wich could explain why I'm so pissed off).

I'm canadian, and I don't see why I should be forbidden to participate in some opportunities or affiliate programs. I strongly believe it should be the same from people of all countries.

United we stand. Divided we fall...

They are very unprofessional in their approach. I left them one year ago. The affiliate manager just ignores you usually if they cannot answer a question. I went back to them with a different id on icq, I got replies instantly but when I told him I was the same person they went back to no replying. Absolutely horrible approach towards affiliates. Nothing can match adult friend finder in the dating industry I feel.

To be honest with you. China and India are the next superpowers. Almost all big corporates have outsourced most of their business to India. China & India alone constitute one fourth of the total world population. The economies are growing so rapidly that every corporate wants to seize and take advantage of the opportunity. India is the major investment hub for the world at the moment. And it's a rat race out there to get a spot in the growing economy by the corporates.

That AK from datinggold is the worst affiliate manager i have ever seen.. they follow this policy strictly : Do not respond if they have any issue with affiliates..

That AK a****** has forwarded my email to another prick in their office quoting that i'm not going to respond his continuous emails, so you take care..

We are currently looking into this. It also appears that you are from a
country that is on our banned list. You can see this in our terms. You
should of sent us an email prior to promotion or read the terms before
    signing up as an affiliate.

Like I mentioned before. They are absolutely horrible with affiliates. Not only they are very unprofessional but rude too. But I can't be bothered with small companies any more. Nothing can match friend finder network & their great support team. Also dating gold does not convert as well as friend finder.

The accounts are approved instantly, so they probably don't even check the accounts until they reach payout. Did you guys consider that?

Seriously... read the affiliate terms before you sign up.

It should be noted that they've changed their TOS a couple times w/o notice (lately in reguards to where your traffic comes from). Which is well within their rights to do so, but would be cool if they'd drop a mass email telling you to re-review the TOS.

This will prolly seem like a tangent, but I look at a lot of those banned countries ... and I think to myself "Patriot Act". I bet they don't want to deal with the paperwork/issues that COULD POSSIBLY arise from sending somewhat large sums of money to a few of those countries. Japan and a couple others are somewhat suprising to me though.

I don't think this is some kind of conspiracy against Asia.

Well they need to consider something very important. They need to delete all the countries not allowed from their sign up form countries list. Many other firms which do not allow a certain country always do that. Also they don't check until the payout amount is reached as they want affiliates working for free. This is a great way of making easy money. And also shows how cheap & unprofessional the company is.

I agree. I even emailed them saying that. But AK told me that they will never remove the countries from the list of countries given in the sign up page. That proves that they are not removing these countries intentionally.

What's your problem? You did not read their terms and now you're badmouthing them. You can't be real.
