As one who has several dating affiliate websites which, BTW, are niche sites, it seems you would be better off to go in another direction. IMO, the market is saturated with dating sites. I read an article to that effect which I will PM to you if I can find it. I am seeking other directions now........ There is competition everywhere but in dating sites, it has become overwhelming.
Just a warning though. I bought a script two years ago for $400 or so. It works ok. However getting traffic is the problem. With so many dating sites out there, it's hard to get enough members to start charging money. Finally I gave up. So before you spend money, think it through.
I would have to agree, starting a new dating site these days seems like a waste of time to me - you just cant compete with the big boys, they have TV advertising and everything... But I guess its possible if you have anough money behind it.
