Dating Site name

    Hello,
    I am opening a new dating site and am looking for a nice catchy name

    The site is free. it is intended for serious relationships and not for any kind of quick fixes.
    Any names and so called Web2.0 word combinations like Date4Me, Date4U, Love4Us, KissMee2, IloveU2 etc are in my opinion not a good idea and most are already registered anyhow.

    Examples for the kind of original names I like are:

    Spoons
    OneAndOnly
    MeetMe
    FindTheOne

    Any suggestions are welcome :)

    You need to check the domain registrations for the names you listed. All of the .com's are taken but a few other extentions are available.

    MeetMe in my opinion sounds the best but most of them sound good. However, I'm not sure about spoons and what that's supposed to mean.

    Hi,

    You should create a simple script that checks all combination of relevant keywords like "date", "me", "you", "love", "perfect", "find", "match", "romance", "ideal", etc etc that are available under .com and .net

    If you are UNIX/Web-developer this can take only a few hours. If not you can find someone.
    This can be done with Perl, PHP or UNIX shell.

    For example, my company names Miraline.com and LiveDateSearch.com were created using this method :)

    The other solution can be to use similar free service, for example this one: https://www.powerpipe.com/dr2_new.asp
