If you were "proficient" was CSS your site would look a lot better. Just because you used CSS doesn't mean you used it well.
I would consider rethinking some of the content, I just cant take it seriously, think your hard selling it a bit too, you need to presell your visitors, the page just screams Im selling something and generally visitors dont like that you need to warm them up first Also with 80 - 150 hits a day why not offer your $1 ebook free in exchange for name and email then you have customers for life your letting 3000-5000 visitors a month just leave your site. look in to writing good squeeze/landing pages that convert visitors you will probably find changing your page delivers a lot more sucess
BDDazza, Maybe your true expertise is on how to annoy people trying to help you. It can be developed and monetized, just like anything else. And you can link to this thread as evidence of your success. There are a lot of people out there is the world which are passive aggressive. It would do them much good to release some of their anger. And online is a very safe place to do so. Maybe bill it as "Expressing anger online to bring your off-line life into greater peace and harmony" would work. Teach them ten proven methods of anger release for ten dollars. And, make number ten tips on how to bash you and your ten-point course, just so that they feel complete. This may sound like a joke to you, but I bet you'd get more sales with this approach than trying to compete with the smooth talking experts of the PUA world.
Spiritual teachers say that it is not the question that the person asks which they answer, rather they answer the deeper need within the person. They say people don't even know what they need- that we don't even know our true questions, our true needs, and our true pains. So, maybe we should toss your question aside completely, following in the path of the spiritual masters, and give you the answer that you really need: relax, breathe deep, don't try to make a living online, get a normal paying jobs, develop new skills, enjoy life a little more, take a walk in the woods, have a cup of tea with someone you love, and appreciate this life that you have been given. Find more connection, more intimacy, more love. Don't try to sell scoring sex to others. Rather, find that which will give your heart and mind a deeper sense of contentment. Then you can come back to online sales and not having anything to prove to anyone. You can come back with what they call "Beginner's Mind" in Zen. Total receptivity, total openness. No forcing, no resisting, no trying. Just Being. Being with action. Enjoying the action as part of the experience of life, enjoying the game of the marketplace, without attachment to self-image, proving oneself, and squeezing from others. Enjoying giving something to others, knowing that you will receive in return. Give everything and abundance will come. But first you need a full stop on the current ego patterns.
Excuse me. If you could read you would understand that my website was CSS based a month back before I moved to Drupal which is a CMS. A month back I wasn’t registered to this site, a month back I wasn’t here asking for advice. A month back you wouldn't of had a clue what my CSS site looked like so these assumptions about my "CSS skills" have no basis. Thanks, Lewis69, OrganicHotelMarketing and everybody else that has helped me. My website's front page needs an entire change to mould it in the way that has been recommended. I am going to revisit this thread in about a month with a fresh front page, I would appreciate it if you guys could critique the website again in a month or so. Thanks again.
