phpfox is a good , unenecrypted, script, costs about $300 for baseline install, though you'd need to customize it if you want a zip code search --i recently did somethign like this using phpfox .

avoid able dating, abk-soft or any of this scamming company's other psuedonymns

You could setup a site on our system for free, then you would not have to worry about the initial outlay or running the site and you could just concentrate on the marketing.

I don't suggest PHP Izabi though there script is easy to use and easy to modify but I think their core or plat form is not updated, I once have a site with PHP Izabi script and was HiJack. Anyway If you are looking for a FREE script I suggest dolphin community builder others says it's buggy and slow but not in my case.

And if you have a BIG budget I suggest PHPFOX I think it's the best so far.

Anyway GOOD Luck....

 

I also agree with real_skinner. Php Izabi is a nice script but easily hacked. My site was hacked two times when I used this script. Osdate is better if you are looking for open source script.

Thank you guys for your sugestions, they are all appreciated and keep them coming. PhpIzabi looks good but probably would need something custom to be modified and also would need to find a database of members to kick this dating thing off I dont mind paying something as long as that script is good,fast etc...

Well, if you got a programmer nothing can scare you there were some little problems but i corrected them myself. GO CUSTOM!!! in this case you will not have to blame anyone except you

 

first off, able dating by all accounts is a scam

secondly, nothing can scare you' -- from the very words of the able dating people, the script is encrypted...so (unlike phpfox and other open source projects) you can't ever customize it because you can't even read it no matter how good of a programmer you are.

 

Well, do not know what is considered to be scam, really. I got both date and space, space multi domain license, no one scammed me or told me to go to hell or to the ass.. as for the customizing, something I did meself because I can do something in php, something did a programmer from abk-experts.com almost free..

but i am not trying to change your mind of course.. the less they sell, the less there will be sites as good as mines yahooooooooooo

 

If you do not know how to optimize the quieries.. DO NOT BUY NOTHING EVER!! and learn MySQL.. no offence, but one at least should know WHAT he is trying to do.

I also have had a lot of problems with scripts, wanted to stop trying to create a successful dating site, until i understood that only trying variants you can achieve your goals. Only working hard.
