Anybody watch Dateline tonight? It was pretty interesting. They tracked down a porn spammer promoting a certain website involving farm animals. They used the Whois info. They ended up in Canada a couple times, once in a building with a bunch of dot coms. They went to the Tucows office (nice offices!) and talked an address out of the receptionist, went to a guys office in NYC that was the "record keeper" (right), went to an Internet porn convention in Vegas. They finally got a name from someone at Python using his affiliate ID and met the culprit for lunch. He said he was "sorry and won't be in the spamming business any longer". Yea right. They called the housewife recipient of the spam and made him apologize to her.
