Datacentre issues

I've been seeing different results across various datacentres for over a week now, the SERPS are just not settling. This is making accurate use of the keyword tracker impossible aswell. I'm sure this is not usually the case, anyone have any idea what is going on?

Unfortunately noone know what is going on including google guys like Matt Cutts. It behaves like the last PR update which took months to settle, this one will be no different, imo..

Until Matt Cutts arrives back from his vacation google will remain broken. Once he returns he will fix the site: command and roll out a PR/backlink update straight away and all will be well again.

Google has become most unreliable in throwing search results. Its fine filtering results but so much fluctions is madness.

My site despite having a nice PR ranking can't even be found for the name of my business. This after being ranked in top 5 for major keywords for the last few years.

Yeah my sites can still be found thank god but I can be anywhere between 10 to #5 at times. One day I am #10 the other day I am #5. WTF is going on Google?

The allinanchor:furniture filter is displaying some very strange results over the past 2 days.
May explain why i have disapeared from the serps I have had rock steady results in the serps for the past year or two for this term.

I can verify that the google results as of this moment do not match any known McDar datacenter. At least this is the case where I am. Perhaps this a good sign since my site seems to be coming back in the results.

That's because McDar only shows the 24/7 datacenters. This Datacenter Tool will show you all the known datacenters. If you do not get a result on a specific DC it means that that DC is currently turned-off.

There are two SERP families right now, and it looks like they are doing some more configuring with the new SERP family creating varied results in certain DCs.

Thanks Komodo. That's a good tool. I'm seeing wild fluctuations across some DCs. Some are even listing every page on my site as a supplemental result. Even the index page! Some are showing over 300 pages indexed and others as low as 32. LOL! Lots of my old deleted pages from 2005 showing also.

Ok well it's obvious google has some work to do before they get this mess sorted out.

I was about to post a similar thread actually. For example Dp tracker tells me that i should be around 20th for a very competitive keyword but in reality im nowhere to be found. Also i get a lot of referresr from google searching for "chat" even though i cant find myself anywhere...

So what's the long and the short of all this? It seems that we are all suffering in some form. Surely they can't allow this to continue. We are either ranked or we are not.
