Datacenters after PR Update

Just curious if anyone knows how long it takes before the new PR's from the update spread accross all the datacenters. The DP forum is still showing a PR6 here, and my sites are still showing old rankings as well.

That's weird, it should be stable by now, where are you located?

Looking at the results from this tool which shows PR across multiple data centers the update might still be happening. 5 of the data centers show a new PR for me and 7 still show the old.

Yes, this update is stuck. I've never seen this happen before. There has been no movement on the sites I am watching since Friday morning.

You re right, it still needs to propagate, I can see different PR for several sites at different datacenters right now.

I just hope I get to keep my shiny new PR6 :D

Ah! This BITES. Page rank makes NO SENSE to me what-so-ever. Okay... one of my site that is nothing but a splash page, no content, not trying to do anything with it, bumps from a 2 to 3 as it appears to be now. Another site of mine, which has content but makes almost zero adsense and like 2 people visiting per day is bumping from a 0 to a 1.

BUT... one of my sites which has a probably very slow but steady traffic and makes some adsense daily is still a 0... and my big big site with an Alexa.com rating of 23,000 is well... stuck at 6 and has been forever. Doesn't appear any change. I could care less about the other sites... I just want to see a 7 or 8. ugh! Oh well.

As they say... PageRank no matter. ;)

Last several times it took a few days until it settled in. And remember, it's just toolbar PageRank, it's only important for things like Coop weight.

Me, too, but I am beginning to wonder if there is a rollback underway. The number of data centers showing the new PR is decreasing, not increasing, on every single one of the sites I am monitoring.

I've been watching the datacenters, and it's been up and down all weekend. Once 7 showed my shiny new pr4, then only 4, now 8 show it.

I'm sure it will settle down. Think of how much data they must have to deal with.

    :)

I am loosing page rank on my homepage. :( I wonder if I have too many links going out from my home page. I have put links to all my links pages on the home page to boost them so I could get better link exchanges. I see no other difference in what I have on my home page than before that should make a difference.
