Datacenter check VS Google Search. What does it mean?

If I check my rankings at the page below, then I'm #3 across the board for all datacenters.

But if I do a regular search from Google, then I'm #10 and #11.

What is going on? It's been like this for weeks. My ranking on the datacenter check tool isn't changing, but other sites below it are moving a bit. My site hasn't been #3 when I actually search Google for maybe 1 month.

It could be a local thing: your site doesn't have enough links from local sites? Have you tried scroogle? http://www.scroogle.org/scraper.html

That's google's results without personalization, localization etc.
You should also check the google webmaster tools. They give you the rankings per keyword your site is found for (well, the top 10), per google version.

Its different because routine Google Search Results are also returned from 'one' of hundreds of Google datacenters.

You need to be more concerned about your rank in most recently updated Datacenter that's mostly API results.

What are API results? How do I find what you're talking about? Thanks!
