What are the difference between sql and oracle database? please me anyone...... Thanks in advance.......
there is not much difference actually SQL is common.. the difference comes in mysql, oracle and then ibm db2... these are platforms ..there queries are similar but some queries are different ... its like same thing you have browsers there use is same but the functionality of each browser islittle different
•SQL uses the concept of multithreading while oracle uses the concept of multiprocessor •Oracle provides better security than SQL •Oracle uses special hardware where in SQL there is no any need of special hardware •There are some limitations for users that connects to the server at the same time
SQL is Structured Query Language which is used by all database vendors in their relational database products like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle 11g, DB2, MySQL etc. But the vendors make modifications over the standard SQL language and add additional functions, syntax to make it easier for their customers work on their products. SQL Server has T-SQL, Oracle has PL/SQL, SAP has O-SQL, etc. The answers above show variations because the question is not clear.
WE can create the database in mysql, oracle, and ms access . Sql is a structure query language and it is used by all user relationship . oracle is providing the better securities then the sql. Oracle is work like multiproceesor.
