    Hey everyone,

Hoping someone can help me out because godaddy techs aren't...

I am having a database connection string problem.

    This is what comes up:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e4d'

    Login failed for user 'NitrotrimDB'.

    /ediet/thankyou.asp, line 135

I have actually changed the password to my login for sql server, changed the html code on line 135 to the correct username and new password.. uploaded and it still comes back as saying the above..

I did the following as Godaddy tech support told me this would fix it.. I will also attach a screen shot of the error..

If anyone can suggest something it would be greatly appreciated. ;)

    Kim

    1) clear cache
    2) when u created new user & pass, did you also given rights to the db to that user?

Good question.. In the godaddy sql server connection page, it simply asks to reset your password and this is what i did.. Then I inputed the new password in the html code where the error was indicated, line 135..
