Database selling, how to determine the price?

Case: I've got a database with 250 000 records (lyrics). I'm offering this for sale.

How do I determine the price for this database? And could I add a little to the price if I include monthly updates? Or should I get a monthly fee for this?

    Thanks for any reactions.

Having a look around the sales part of some forums. There are similar databases for sale this should help you gauge a price.

Larger ones can be found in the freebie section. Have you created this your self? If its something you made... and you give out monthly updates I'd say 20-50 (if you made it)

I've made it, and I'm keeping it up to date myself.
