I have recently purchased a domain that has 7 wordpress installations in sub-directories. My knowledge is very poor in this area and I thought that I will get one simple .sql file for each blog that I will be able to import into a new database. It appears that Yahoo hosting has a different format. A mysql database backup in Yahoo hosting creates a folder (one each for a blog) with dozens of files and I don't see a .sql file. Could someone please help? I can no longer access the blogs in a browser since the settings are now changed to GoDaddy servers but I do have access to the Yahoo hosting account where all the files are.
If you still have access of Yahoo hosting and if they are using PHPMyAdmin then you xcan generate your own database backup from PHPMyAdmin. You can generate .sql file for your database from PHPMyAdmin.
