Servage has a very low-uptime mysql server. I have had a very bad experience with servage. Its good only for light weight scripts. Sometimes my Image hosting site ( using mihalism ) also shows this MySQL connection lost error. Move to a better host or try to get a VPS because vBulletin is resource expensive
Well that sucks, like the last poster said, ask the hosting company whats up and move to another host. Because it looks like nothing other than poor service to me..
mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Lost connection to MySQL server during query /mounted-storage/home86a/sub006/sc47457-GRDZ/www/includes/class_core.php on line 311 well the part in bold clearly tells that its the problem with the MySQL server and not any syntax problem. When i was using servage once, i used to get wierd errors, for example : MySQL Error : MySQL server has gone away Error Number : 2006 I strongly recommend you to change your host at once
