database of US companies

    You can find a list of all major companies...but finding a list of ALL US companies? I dont think such a list exists????

    bakery and barbershops count as a company too, right?

    we're talking over a million companies....

    ....you just bugged me out...

    ....a list does exist...not one that you can get your hands on though.

    Are you looking for a specific company? Cause that's easy enough to find. But a list of all US businesses by category? I think you may need to send a SAE to 'The President, Big White Building in Washington D.C.' :D

    I wasn't aware there were any American companies left. Many smaller ones, but most over a few million in assets have moved their hq's over sea's or off shore to avoid taxes and regulations.

    There is one, I bought for very expensive, My domain Businesses** I believe will benefit from that. I already know someone who will help me import all this. I wished to start it by Jan 1 2008 but some things depend on others, such as answering my questions here.

    To list all your businesses or database you must be researching some platform also So Please share your research for platform, I found PMD to be good but which ver not sure yet!
    I was considering to start a Business listing web site, So Phpmydirectory+ wychmods was my preffred choice, He got many useful modes such as
    user abilty to suggest/add category,
    higher member level ability to show up on top or list in more categories
    SEO friendly, and
    addfileds let you add more fields to listings,
    Appointment Request Form,
    Amazon like reviews etc.
    but his mods only support PMD up to ver 10.4

    PMD company updated to ver 11.x and encoded there script, Any body here have experience here with v10 or v11 if they added all wych features into v11.x

    OR its just little eyecandy added to v10 encoded and is called V11.x
    Is it worth it to use ver 11.x instead of v10.x+ wychmods
    I think it may be worth it to use v11 only if they have made or added those features built in or come with script.
    can any one address these features in V11.x one by one like How many fields there are in ver11.x and if you can
    add more or rename them.
    Your experience with these versions can help me decide which ver. to buy or use
