    Hi gang,

I am pretty good with MS-Excel and can do almost anything with it in regards to formulas. My situation is this:
    • I have a list of records set in columns.
    • I want to dump this onto a database where I can play with the data

    My questions therefore are:
    1. How do I upload the data in MySQL Control Panel? (I've already created a database and assigned a user. Also created the columns as is exactly the same as my data column names... tried uploading... and got error messages regarding the column names I couldn't understand).
    2. How do I use formulas in MySQL? Is it like Queries and if so, how advanced can they get?
    3. How do I get a web page to display this data???? This is a biggy for me!

Any help would greatly be appreciated and thanks in advance gang!:)

    Cheers!
    -Bizza.

    Hello,

You can try DBConvert for MS Excel & MySQL from http://www.dbconvert.com/convert-excel-to-mysql-pro.php . Built-in Data Selector allows users to select definite range of data to be converted. AutoSelection feature is able to automatically recognize tables for conversion....

Thanks graformix ;) I've just downloaded it and will give it a try.
Do you know of any good free versions anywhere?

Oh and most important of all... could you (or anyone else) please tell me how to fetch the data from a web page? Like, filters n all displaying the data in various ways?
