Database needed

    I am looking for a worldwide database for country,state,city

    is there any free or which is the cheapest paid or has anyone built their own and would like to share with me for a fee!

    there is already a free mysql DB available called World database.

    www.maxmind.com has data that you need, however it would be in different format and you might have to work a little to get it into your desired format.
