    Alright webmasters,

I been having this problem importing my old database from my site and I thought someone from this site may be able to help me seeing as this is a webmasters site.

I had a website not too long ago, then there was a power outage where I live at (Florida) which happens alot. This power outage fried my charger, and the piece where you connect it. Now with the few minutes I had left with power on my laptop I made a backup of my site just in case I was not going to be able to keep paying it (because I might not have my laptop), so anyways I made these backups of everything. The hosting was under BeastGamers, now its under WarezDesign, the db is from WarezDesign, but the database name ware "Beastgam_vb" now since the hosting is under warezdesign the db name is "warezdes_vb" but it keeps saying I am having database issues (The database has encountered a problem.).

Is there anything I need to change or do to my database to make it work?

I do not know much about databases, but I do know how to follow instructions. Can anyone help?

Any questions? Feel free to ask ill be around this site alot.

Please do not post if you are not trying to help. I will appreciate it very much if you have any knowledge on this, and wish to help me.

I'm not sure I understand what's happened. You changed hosts, and now your database is having issues? Can you give us the error(s) that the database is reporting? This should get emailed to your admin contact, if I recall how vb works.

change the database name in your script because i'm sure it still pointing the old database "Beastgam_vb" and also check the username and password because i think the access still pointing "Beastgam_vb".

    Hope this will help you.
