Have a Buddypress-theme up and running. It’s a custom design, and isn’t as flexibly as the ordinary templates. I also have an old (ordinary) WP-blog with a couple of thousand posts. I would like to migrate that database (the posts, comments mainly) to my new BuddyPress-theme. I think I might now how do to it, but since I’m not sure and don’t really wanna screw anything up, I’m looking for someone who knows that they can do it. It is, as far as I know, a pretty straight forward job and I don’t have a big budget to spend. Time IS an issue, too.
You don't need to convert to wordpress MU anymore to use buddypress. Also wordpress 3 will be out in few days which merges both wordpress and wordpress MU so you don't need to convert database.
