Data remove permanently to make it irrecoverable from any way...how?

    How can I remove data from a PC so that it is irrecoverable from any data recover software or any other method? Want to totally remove data and its traces.

    Short of destroying the hardrive, there is no way. Anyone who is determined enough and has the right tools can recover at least some of the past data.

    If you're going to re-use them yourself, then try Darik's Boot and Nuke: dban.org
    If you're disposing of them, wipe them, then physically destroy them.
