Now I am okay with Landlords, as I know that BadTenants.co.uk is perfectly legal for such to use. However, Letting Agents, and their Data Protection, I am unsure as to whether or not using such a website would cause them problems.

I am also unsure as to how I would find out the answer to this.

I got a call from a prospective client of the above site, who asked this question, and I am wondering if anyone here could shed some light on it for me,

Basically the site would require a letting agent to display (when applicable) the Forename/Surname/Address of a tenant who has caused disruption to property, or such, and has been evicted etc. Would this be a violation of their DPA or not.

    To clarify further:

I would not be publishing the information. The website would merely provide a way for someone else (who can be fully identified) to publish any information. such information is only available to members of said website, and every member of the website can be identified, and therefore would be quite dumb to put up slanderous or false allegations which they could not prove.
