Does anyone know exactly how those datahound websites work? indeed.com, simplyhired.com, trulia.com ?

    1. The job hounds, do they search through the raw monster,careerbuilder,etc... sites and just take the data for each one manually through a login or do they access some type of database file?
    2. Does trulia just search realtor.com and sites like that and take listings?

    ALSO
    1. Do they build their own database or just search those sites and compile the list real-time as you decide to search?
    2. If they are building a database, how are they checking for listings that aren't there anymore?

    Thanks

I am asking because I'd like to build one for commercial real estate to search through the commercial properties that exist for sale nationwide. We provide commercial real estate mortgages, so it would be a very synergistic website relationship. thanks
