Data Entry Needed

I need some data entry done.

I have approx 9000 numbers that I need to add data to.


Current numbers example:
10001
10002
10003...
etc.

I simply need someone to add the ".gif" to the end of each number

10001.gif
10002.gif

I have just been copy/pasting in notepad, but I am sure there is a easier way. I was probably doing 1 per second...

I will send you the numbers in a .txt file, you simply add the .gif to the end of each...Let me know if you have any questions.

There must be a tool for this. Anybody know that tool ?

 

You can add two columns in MS excel.

Use this formula in cell C1:

They copy the formula for all entries.

I was disheartened on reading this thread. It's amazing how people want to find a shortcut to everything. Thinking for 1 min could have given you the solution. If not, even a simple thread for help could have helped, and you would have gotten to know how to do it in 10 secs.

Honestly people, where is curiosity these days?
