Go read "the universe in a nutshell" by stephen hawking for a great insight into multidimensionality. In no way does any of that have anything do do with an afterlife, nor has there been any proof that an afterlife or "god" exists, but it is a good read for anyone that is actually into science and not pseudo christian science (christian science is an oxymoron)

The difference between you and I:

I accept the theory of evolution because it is the only scientific theory consistent with the observable evidence. If it were falsified tomorrow, I would no longer accept it to be true.

You do not accept the theory of evolution because it is incompatible with your religious beliefs. (Strange, because millions of Christians worldwide embrace evolution AND their faith without trouble). I'd wager that no amount of evidence would allow you to hold evolution as true. If that is a false assertion, then please explain what evidence you would require in order to accept evolution.

There's many documented instances were ghost-like phenemona is said to occur. I'm not quick to say it's true or not.

Similiar things could be said about aliens. There's no 'proof' of their existence, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

 

People debate whether the method of evolution Darwin suggested is correct...they don't really debate whether or not evolution occurs. Most accept that it does.

Absolutely. As scientific skeptics we must keep open minds. I am fully open to the existence of, amongst other things, ghosts, multiple dimensions, unicorns, Bigfoot, aliens and God. Yes, God.

We need to critically analyse the objective evidence put forward for such phenomena.

I'd be interested to hear more of the "documented instances" you speak of. From all I have read of ghosts, the evidence has not sufficiently demonstrated their existence.
