I think they are priceless for states of CA and CO respectively. Two knock off domains for dankchronic.com exist - thedankchronic.com and finechronic.com. They both reside in CO. Some idiot snatched my .net too.. If we see the FED regulating marijuana commerce in CALIFORNIA what do you think the potential is behind these? I think one-word names like 'weed.com' 'chronic.com' etc are too generic and not descriptive enough. Putting myself in the shoes of a tourist I want to be in touch with the locals and have the very best stuff on earth. As a tourist I don't just want 'weed' i want DANK WEED. A very specific type of weed. If im ordering pot online in vacuum sealed baggies i want the best of the Golden State. "dank weed" is _the_ golden state's term for the finest quality weed available. I've grown up here my whole life, never heard it called anything else. I got lucky on the colorado deal, I didnt know dank chronic was their term... anyone reside in these two areas share their two cents? These domains are not for sale, just poking around at inquiries. They are very very brandable with huge potential. Everyone scoffs at me like they did to the (google this exact phrase to read the exact story) cool.com guy "Tim Lee". I keep telling people dude the 90's are over, this is the web2.0 generation. Two word domain names are perfectly fine and if handbags.com appraises for 10million dollars on estibot, there is always a shot that you can grab a priceless two worder also. BasicFusion / Navigation Catalyst Systems shed dankweed.com through redemption and I snapped it in October. Why they did this I have no idea, but apparently they have millionares/billionares that host on there, requirement is 5000+ domain names to transfer to them. I was in shock for awhile till I noticed BasicFusion says they only allow 5000+ domain portfolios.. Meaning they probably shed valuable ones often... Who knows what their story is? Maybe they didn't want to be involved with marijuana? Federal funding can do that The Wayback Machine (archive.org) reports dankweed.com was first registered and had web content as early as the year 2000. It's a ten year old relic that has only been in the hands of 3 people (3 drops according to DomainTools) This is the web 2.0 generation also, two and 3 word companies are perfectly acceptable (Eg: Dank Weed Cafe, Dank Weed Delivery, Dank Weed Logistics, Dank Chronic Enterprises, Dank Chronic Industries, etc). In California we're use to doing business with these types of entities in our generation. One and two worders are GREAT but just because its a one worder does not mean it's better than a two worder. Here's a similar checkup on a two word owning a 1 word - handbags.com ($10m) vs bags.com ($1.1m) I want to mention that automated appraisals mean absolutely nothing when it comes to priceless brandables like these.... Only personal opinions really matter.. Also even personal opinions can be biased, based on jealousy and whatnot... I dont really want to appraise at sedo either. I dont want to know a dollar value at all. THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE!!!!! PRICELESS!!! I just want to know if anyone agrees or if I will just have to wait and see (everyone is telling me im "delusional" and trying to shoot me down. yet ive had a lot of signs that point out i might be sitting on a mountain of cash.. signs enough to drive a man wild with excitement...) cannabisextracts.com <- that was a really really nice name someone at godaddy grabbed in october 09 shortly after mine. people are snapping pot domains up right now.. the train is rolling and can't be stopped. Mad TV spoofed a show of Montel and called it Montel Chilliams, and in this clip the term "DANK CHRONIC" is used on National Television. I cant post URLS but go to google and type 'montel dank chronic' and watch the clip on EbaumsWorld. That was over 3 years ago, that mean's its OG terminology..
I discovered "dank chronic" is used all over the nation on various social networks throughout Google's search results for said term. It is said on Mad TV, and the ultimate bonus - Dr. Dre calls it "dank chronic" specifically in some of his songs. "dank weed" is kind of generic but a good product description. I think click value wise if a person had a choice between clicking http://www.dankweed.com and http://www.dankchronic.com they are probably going to click the DC link... I remember putting it on a blog and getting 100 hits in a few hours. It's catchy.
