Just as I couldn't possibly prove god doesn't exist I can't possibly know that he doesn't either. As Richard Dawkins always says, you can't prove that the flying spaghetti monster doesn't exist but that doesn't mean that he does. You have absolutely ZERO proof that god exists-
*yawn* If Allah actually existed he wouldn't need a bunch of dickless assholes to do his bidding. Real men don't oppress their women. Real men can't have sex with 9 year olds.
The big bang and Darwin's theory of evolution are much more credible than the idea that a superior being clicked his fingers and magically created the world
Big Bang proves that God exists. As for Darwin's theory, it is just that: a theory. The idea that mankind is evolved from some species of ape is highly distasteful, only a retard would ever buy an unscientific idea like that. - MENJ
How does the Big Bang prove that god exists? Now explain why you are calling me a retard for believing a theory that is backed up by good scientific evidence instead of believing the idiotic idea that we were all created instantly by a superior being. Also tell me how old the world is, where dinosaurs fit in and explain why most scientists support darwin's "unscientific idea".
The Big Bang does not prove or disprove that God exists. I still do not know whether or not something superior exists for the simple reason that we still do not know where the Big Bang came from. However, the Big Bang does make it nearly impossible for religions to explain their rule and credibility. A Big Bang, you may argue, is more logical to be originated by something or someone according to our way of thinking. The way we think states that everything has an origin and an end. Although this may be a common sense proof for some people to argue that God originated the Big Bang, for that the Big Bang could logically not be started from nothing, it at the same time could disprove that God exist according to the same logic: If there really were a God and it was him who started the Big Bang, then where does he come from? Extemely confusing. This is why everybody should understand both those who believe in God and those who do not. If you use logic and decide not to be arrogant, you can clearly see that both atheists and believers have a point. I personally, however, can not understand religions anymore simply because I have yet to see any concrete evidence why I should believe in any of them. I still can see a possibility that God exists because you can not prove that he doesn´t, but not religions, because you easily can argue against and prove wrong many things religions came up with. I find it extremely funny that you discredit a theory supported by tons of logical evidents for the sayings of an old book. I know you are told that it is the truth, but that does not mean it is. Anyone who has a brain that functions slowly, not properly, and does not abide by things that are known to be logical for human beings can be called a retard. Since you prefer an old book backed by no convincing evidence on a theory supported by evidences and historical events human beings see as extremely more logical, I would definitely attach the word retard to you instead of phat, who mentioned the theory of evolution. I apologize for having said that. I did not want to say it, because it is extremely impolite and rude to say so, but I thought I could use it as a reminder that it is not only you who is right and that you should prove instead of calling names. In fact, no one is farther away from the truth than you according to what you have written in the quoted post. Let's have some respect. Even though many of us on this forum will jump and say they know the truth, nobody can prove his faith is the right one. Therefore, nobody really knows the truth. The best bet is to respect each other, discuss with fresh minds, and combine our efforts to find a logical answer to our questions. Although I see it impossible to find an answer anytime soon, we would at least be understanding each other and living a better life. Think about it. Our lives would be much happier.
Well some understanding of the Kalaam Cosmological Argument would be helpful at this point. Things do not spring out of nowhere. BTW, I did not call you a retard. This is just a theory of mine, but dinosaurs could have appeared on the earth before man was created and were destroyed prior to the fall of Adam (P) and his wife Eve, peace be upon them. Certainly much more possible than things that appear out of nowhere! - MENJ
Never heard of it, perhaps you could sum it up for me? No, they evolve. By the way, if things dont spring out of nowhere where did god come from? And as for the retard thing, you said that anyone who believes Darwin's theory of evolution is a retard, I believe it therefore you are calling me a retard. Nobody said they appeared out of nowhere, you really should read up on a subject before trying to comment on it.
